Was working on this over this week. I felt demoralised sometime during the process because it just looked like a mess but I think I managed to salvage it somehow. I've been hoping to paint her for sometime now. Let me know your thoughts!

Beautiful composition. The dark, cool colors really reflect "the snake." The warm part of the background really helps emphasize the hair snakes and does a great job drawing the eye to them. Overall it gives off a dark, menacing energy, which is perfect given the subject. Great attention to detail. Lovely use of colors in her scales with the blues and greens. I love all the snakes eyes and her expression as well. This makes for a great print! The elbow does seem a bit weird but it doesn't pose a threat to the piece as a whole. GREAT JOB!

I love the dark shading and the contrast, the light of the sun, shining into the dark cave. Magnificent piece fo work :D

very nice, i like how she is both beautiful woman and clearly a monster at the same time but still conveys a sad look, which i feel is true to her tale. good job!
